Two-Week Summer School
Overview
Yoga is a science to calm the mind and steady the emotions by overcoming stress conditions and attaining relaxation. Introduction to Yoga introduces the Philosophy and Practical knowledge of Yoga techniques. Demonstrates Yoga as a positive health science through scientific method. Through a balanced approach involving theoretical and practical sessions, this program offers an interesting entry point to the ideas on Yoga in India.
Learning Outcomes
On completion, students will be able to
- Understand the fundamental ideas on Yoga Philosophy
- Obtain Practical knowledge of Yoga techniques
- Appreciate Yoga as a positive health science through scientific method.
Course Contents
- Unit 1: Knowledge of Yoga Theory and Yoga Practical
- Unit 2: Yoga – Health Science through scientific method.
- Unit 3: Yoga Practical Sessions

Fee Details
The Program fee would be EUR 800 per student.
Included in the Fee:
- Accommodation at University Guest House (on a twin sharing basis) for the duration
- Breakfast and Lunch on all working days
- Internal Transport
- Access to Sports and Emergency Medical Facilities
Not Included in the Fee:
- Flight Tickets
- Travel other than that specified in Program
